Scholarships in New Zealand
A New Zealand scholarship can help you achieve great things in your chosen field. You may also find that, given the lower student numbers, that your particular area of specialisation has yet to have received financial assistance. This means that your chances of attaining grants could be higher than in other countries where there is more competition for limited funds.

NZIDRS
Funded by the New Zealand Government, The New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS) select candidates based on academic merit, and provide full tuition fees and up to $20,500 living expenses per annum. To qualify you need to show evidence that academic supervision in your chosen field of expertise is available.
New Zealand Aid
This programme provides scholarships to citizens of some developing countries to undertake vocational training or tertiary level study in, New Zealand or in some cases the Pacific region.
University Scholarships
Scholarships are available from all eight of New Zealand’s universities, in a wide range of disciplines. The scholarship programmes’ key goals are to share New Zealand’s unique educational system with the rest of the world and bring the best academics from overseas to come and study in New Zealand.
